SF | 3rd concert at the palace for educators is scheduled for October 1 | MANILA – On October 1, Malacaang will hold the third Konsyerto ng Palasyo (KSP) to honour teachers.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) said that Alex Dagalea, Rommel Arellano, Bea Mae Sacramento, and Luke Dela Cruz will all be singing at the upcoming show.
The PCO said, “These powerful singers are ready to sing out and thank all the Filipino teachers who help make the Philippines a better place.”
The PCO said that one of the great singers, Dagalea, is a professor at De La Salle University and was given the chance to appear at Hong Kong Disneyland and Universal Studios Singapore.
The PCO said that Dagalea also competed for Singapore at the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) and won bronze for Vocal Pop, silver for Vocal Broadway, and silver for Vocal Contemporary.
Arellano, on the other hand, used to be on “Tawag ng Tanghalan,” and a singing duo from Baguio City called Sacramento and Dela Cruz has a million fans on TikTok.
Proclamation 242, which was made in 2011, says that the Philippines will celebrate National Teachers’ Month from September 5 to October 5.
Republic Act 10743 was signed into law in 2016, making October 5 National Teachers’ Day every year.
The third KSP will take place at Malacaan Palace’s Kalayaan Grounds. On the KSP’s Facebook page, it will also be shown live.
